The perfect backpacker's backpack (for one week or four months)

Paula: Free People dress

Desodorante? tampoco! Puedes acostumbrarte a...

The size and weight of your bag shouldn't be proportional to the time that you spend travelling. Actually, for two weeks or months, you don't need more than  few items to cover properly depending on the country you're visiting, a light vanity case and  few more things. The "just in cases" will become your worst enemy. AS LIGHTER AS BETTER!

-Needle and thread: My flip-flops broke in the middle of anywhere so I walked (jumped) some kilometers on bare feet along the burning asphalt with all the weight of my bagpack... not nice at all. Untill I realized that I've needle and thread! I sewed them and happy again! (not my fulled of blisters feet though).
Also I remember wearing a t-shirt without bra which strap suddenly broke! (ok I was trying to be chill without bra but not that much!) No worries mate, Needle to the rescue!

-Beach wrap: it's going to be your towel (it's lighter and dries faster), your blanket, your pillow, your bed, your tourbant, your umbrella, your wall or roof, your best friend, your lover... kidding (or... not?hehe) IMPORTANT: It can't be whithe! oouuu you better don't know how dirty it is and with what you are rubbing your body.

-A little pencil and paper: People will write you adresses, songs, make sketches or doodles... and it will be the best souvenir! (Really, this is the top 3 important!)

-Flip-fops: If travel is awesome iti's because you can wear them all the time!!:) No more reasons needed!;)

-Black leggings: Pijama or  the fancy pants for improvised party?

-T-shirts that you really feel confortable with and that you could adopt as a second skin: Some travelers like to buy and throw them when they are dirty  "because OMG in Laos they're so cheap!". So what? I can't understand it and  actually it makes me a bit angry. (Sorry for the offended). Reduce, Reuse and Recycle dude!;)

Also don't fool yourself: "Oh! I'm going to take this t-shirt that I didn't remember that I had! It's so cute! Why I've never used it?". "Oh yes.. because its absolutely transparent and I can't use a bra with it", you'll remember in the middle of your arabic country trip. It's going to end exaclty as at home: in the bottom of the bag/closet.

Think that a party on the beach can appear from anywhere so maybe don't bring that sexy leader dress but at least a cool t-shirt?

-Safety pins: To hang the wet clothes in your bagpack. It also works as a very good thief-repelent. You will look as the perfect homeless.

-Fabric bag: For the dirty clothes and many other unexpected uses.

-A pad (yes, men too), the perfect place to hide your money and pasport, but remember that you put it there!. I rescued all my value things from the bottom of the garbage ¬¬ yezzzz....

-Baggy long pants: See flip-flops explanation ;)

-Hoodie: For ninja naps (what means sleep anywhere ANYWHERE)

-A light vanity case with: paracetamol, tooth brush, soaps. Make up? Unnecessary (take advantage of your radiant-traveling aura;) Brush Hair? ppsssss, the wild hair is cool. Deodorant? Neeee, you can get use to the... KIDDING! :P (don't forget it!;)

-Underwear: Is it really necessary three bras? Can't you wear the bikinis too?

-Sneakers, or hiking boots

And now anything additional would depend on the kind of your trip: a sleeping bag, a torch, a knife, suncream, a lighter (in some countries like China they're forbidden in the airport)...

And now fly and fly my little dragonfly!
